Who we work with in the automotive and transport trades

This page is for anyone running or working in a business that gets its hands dirty and its wheels moving. Some of these businesses are a single owner-operator who wants one decent branded shirt to wear on the job. Others are a workshop with eight bays and a dozen staff, or a small transport fleet that needs everyone looking consistent from the depot to the driveway. Couriers and delivery drivers have their own version of this problem too: you're on someone's doorstep for thirty seconds, and a plain t-shirt doesn't tell the customer who you are. A branded polo or hi-vis shirt does that automatically.

A mechanic's workshop usually needs two different kinds of uniform, and it's worth treating them separately. Service writers, reception staff and anyone who deals with customers face to face need a polo or button shirt that looks tidy at 8am and still looks tidy at 4pm, with your logo embroidered clean and sharp on the chest. That's front-of-house wear, and embroidery is usually the right call because it holds its shape and colour wash after wash. The team actually working on the vehicles need something different again, shirts and coveralls that can take grease, grinder sparks and being balled up in a locker at the end of a shift. We supply both from the same order, so your workshop can have one look at the counter and a tougher, practical look on the floor.

Workwear that holds up to grease, grime and long shifts

Automotive work is hard on clothing. Grease doesn't come out easily, hems catch on tools, and a cheap logo will crack and peel long before the shirt wears out. We stock heavy-duty brands built for this kind of work, including Hard Yakka, King Gee and Syzmik, alongside Biz Collection and Biz Corporates for staff who need something a step smarter. For the decoration itself, we pick the method to suit the garment and the job. Embroidery is the toughest choice for logos on shirts and jackets that get washed often. Screen printing suits larger runs of simple logos. DTF handles full-colour or detailed logos on fabrics that are harder to embroider, and sublimation is useful for all-over colour on things like sports-style polos.

Hi-vis for the yard, the roadside and the tow truck

Tow truck operators, roadside assist drivers and anyone working in a yard around moving vehicles need to be seen, and that's a separate conversation to the branded polo out front. We supply hi-vis shirts, polos and vests with your logo applied so your crew is visible and still clearly identifiable as your business, not just wearing plain safety gear. This matters for tow operators working on the shoulder of a road at night, yard staff moving vehicles between bays, and delivery drivers who are in and out of the vehicle all day in low light. We can put a small embroidered logo on the chest and a larger printed one across the back, which is usually the most practical layout for hi-vis.

How ordering works

Send us your logo, or a rough idea of what you want if you don't have one yet, and we digitise it in-house for embroidery or set it up for print. Once you approve the artwork, garments are usually ready in 2 to 7 business days, depending on the decoration method and how much is on order. We keep your digitised logo on file permanently, so when a new staff member starts or your existing team needs replacements, the reorder matches exactly. There's no minimum order quantity, so whether you need one coverall for a new apprentice or fifty polos for a fleet-wide refresh, the process is the same.
