What goes into a custom uniform

A uniform is more than a shirt with a logo. The combination that works depends on your industry, your climate and how hard the garments get worn.

  • Polos for everyday staff wear, breathable and easy to brand
  • Business shirts for office, reception and client-facing roles
  • Hi-vis and workwear for sites, trades and anywhere safety matters
  • Jackets, vests and fleece for cooler mornings and outdoor work
  • Caps and headwear to finish the look and add sun protection

You don't need all of it. Most businesses start with a branded polo and a cap, then add layers as they go. We'll suggest a starting kit that suits your work and your budget.

Embroidery or print on your uniforms?

Both are good. Embroidery suits polos, business shirts, jackets and caps, and gives a premium, hard-wearing finish. Printing suits tees, hi-vis and bold or detailed designs, and is usually better value on large runs. A lot of uniforms mix the two, for example a stitched chest logo with a printed slogan on the back.

  • We suggest garments. Options across a few price points, with samples if you want to see and feel them first.
  • Artwork setup. We digitise your logo for embroidery or prep it for print, and confirm placement.
  • Sample approval. On bigger orders you sign off a sample before the full run.
  • Production and fit-out. We brand the garments and have them ready for pickup or delivery.
  • Easy reorders. New starter next month? We've kept your setup, so a top-up matches the original.

Uniform FAQs

How many uniforms should I order to start?

Most teams allow two to three tops per person so there's always a clean one. We can start small and you reorder as you hire.

Can you supply different sizes in one order?

Yes. We collect everyone's sizes and brand the right garments for each person, including names if you want them.

Do you do uniforms for small businesses?

Yes. No minimum. Sole traders and small crews are a big part of what we do.

How long does a uniform order take?

Around 2–7 business days from artwork approval. Larger fit-outs may take a little longer, and we'll tell you upfront.

Can I add new staff to an existing uniform later?

Easily. We keep your logo setup and garment details, so a single new starter's uniform matches the rest of the team.

What if I already have garments?

We can often brand garments you supply, as long as they suit the machine or printer. Send a photo and we'll check.

Can you match my brand colours across garments and logo?

Yes. We match thread or print to your brand colours and keep colour choices consistent across the whole uniform.

Do you handle hi-vis compliance?

We stock day and day/night hi-vis from the major brands so your team can meet site requirements. Tell us the standard you need to meet.
