Sublimated uniforms across the southside

Embroidery and printing cover most of what southside businesses need. Sublimation covers the rest — the full-colour, edge-to-edge work that neither of the others can do. The dye is bonded into polyester under heat, so the artwork runs right to the hem and through the sleeve with no border, no heavy patch of ink and nothing you can feel with your hand.

From Sunnybank through Mount Gravatt and out to Springwood we do this for sporting clubs, gyms, schools and businesses running events. Because there is no screen to set up per colour, a design with forty colours in it costs what a design with two colours costs.

The one rule worth knowing early: sublimation needs a white or very light polyester base, because the dye is transparent and the fabric colour shows through everything printed on it. For a design on a dark or cotton garment we would point you at DTF or screen printing instead. The full category list is on the sublimation page.

Why can't you sublimate our design onto black shirts?

Sublimation ink is transparent and there is no white sublimation ink, so on a dark garment the fabric colour shows through and the design disappears. It needs a white or light base. For dark garments we use DTF or screen printing with a white underbase.
